This means they don't try to date women who they consider out of their league.
For example, they consider they themselves are 'average' looking so they only try to date average looking women, leaving the '10's' to the handsome guys.
This is a flawed theory and if it seems ALL attractive women are only dating very attractive men it's because the average looking guys don't ask these ladies out on dates.
This of course isn't the case. I know many average looking guys who are with beautiful women, for the simple fact that they IGNORE this daft rule.
Ignoring this rule shows that these men have inner confidence and that is always more attractive than looks.
Here's a true story from my own life.
I myself have always aimed high and always had the men that every other woman wants. Of course they turn out not to be all that and so they get thrown back. Looks aren't everything.
I had a female friend moaning about an unattractive stalker she'd acquired once. She couldn't believe he was punching so high above his own weight!
She said to me (cheeky cow that she was)
"You wouldn't go for really attractive guys would you Leah?".
I must've been having a bad hair day
I reminded her I was with a very attractive guy and that all previous chaps had been equally attractive.
I don't go into a sweet shop and pass by the yummy scrummy sweets because they are on the top shelf and appear out of my reach (me being short).
I go for what I fancy every time and if that means I have to jump a little higher to get them off the top shelf, I'll jump like a good 'un.
